Well friends - the Will Be Gones came and went, but like many things that come and go they come back around again. And that is just what has happened. We'll be releasing some music over the next while starting with our debut EP Never Not Letting Go which comes out everywhere on June 23rd. We are doing a show at the Carleton in Halifax to mark the occasion, and are working on the completion of our full-length album over the next few months.

YO FOLKS - SO WE ARE SUPER HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE MATT JOHNSON (OF SHELTER WITH THIEVES AND SHYNE FACTORY FAME!) IN AS OUR NEW DRUMMER!  MATT BRINGS AN AWESOME SOUND TO THE BAND AND CAN SING LIKE THE WIND - LIKE THE WIND WE TELL YOU!  WE ARE EXCITED TO START PLAYING SHOWS AGAIN AND PLAY SOME NEW TRACKS.

 

ON THAT FRONT, YOU CAN CATCH THE WILL BE GONES ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH, AT THE STEEL CITY IN SYDNEY, AS PART OF NOVA SCOTIA MUSIC WEEK.  WE WILL BE KICKING AROUND ALL WEEK LONG, SO YOU MIGHT JUST CATCH US RIPPING A FEW TUNES IN A HOTEL LOBBY OR ON THE ROOF OF A VAN OR SOMETHING - WATCH FOR IT! FRIDAY THE 15TH BRINGS US BACK TO HALIFAX WITH OUR FIRST LOCAL SHOW WITH MATT AT THE CASINO - FROM 11:30 - 12:30 AS PART OF NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS.

 

WE FINALLY HAVE A RELEASE DATE FOR THE RECORD - FEBRUARY 28TH, 2014!  WE ARE ABOUT TO START POSTING SOME TEASER TRACKS FROM THIS THING AND WE ARE SUPER HAPPY WITH THE WAY IT TURNED OUT- DON'T SQUAT WITH YOUR SPURRS ON, THE WBGS

 YOYO folks - so we are hard at finishing the debut album, and we figured we would give you some little teaser bits so you can get a sense of where we are going with things so head on over to the music section and check out a couple of snippets!  Also finally gonna start performing some live shows again so hope to see you around town...

Welcome to the new Will Be Gones website / EPK - cause it's all the same these days!  We are currently in the studio working on our debut album - and it is going to be killer.... Can't wait to share it with you all - watch for our first radio release coming this month to a station near you!
