Greg Seger
Started when I was 11. With a garage band and sock hop high school gigs.I was always focused on doing guitar solos. After High School I was still playing in a band. Brian Kelly and his Brother Kenny were two players who had influenced much of what I know about the fretboard. Then came my life as a pipefitter, landlord, etc.. Making money was important to me and paid off for my retirement. Like many people who retire I return to my true love of playing guitar solos. For the last 10 yrs I have been in different local bands. I realize all the elements that are needed to be entertaining and to get gigs for us to show off our skills.Groove Time is a band of lifer musicians who have great passion for music. I am excited to entertain you and I hope you see it and feel it.

Beginnings: After hearing the Beatles and Stones when they first came out, we got some cheap electric guitars and started imitating our idols. My guitar quickly broke the top 2 strings, so started playing basslines. I got into some bar bands in the 70's (100w bass amp back then) and eventually realized the need to know some country music as well as rock. I went thru about a dozen bands over the years while maintaining a steady day-job. Currently retired and enjoying 'sleeping in' and tinkering with my Koi pond. I'll play almost anything if the audience is enjoying it. There's nothing better than to see folks dancing to your music. We are nothing without the audience
