David Goldberg also known to his fellow musicians as Dawie.....
has been playing piano/keyboards and singing professionally for the past 20 years.
Born in Johannesburg he grew up playing the many venues in Rocky Street perfecting his craft.
In 2018 Dave recruited Bruce Williams (ex BAXTOP and TRIBE AFTER TRIBE);

They will take you on a musical journey featuring Dave’s original work and some awesome adaption’s of other well known artists material.
“The DG Band” are at present recording their debut alum at Mighty Music Productions in Muizenberg which should be available soon.

Dear Dave
I would just like to thank you and your colleagues once again for your amazing performance on 13 July at the International Conference of Commercial Bank Economists Gala dinner. Not only was the music of a very high standard but you also judged the mood of the evening perfectly and adjusted accordingly. The feedback that I got the next day was extremely favourable. I also very much appreciated your accommodating spirit and the help and advice that you gave us.
If you ever need any references please do not hesitate to use me if you think it appropriate. I would be more than happy to oblige.
Much appreciated
Dennis

Hi Dave,
Thank you so much for your kind email and the “gift” attached.
Unfortunately I’ve disabled my email service whilst on vacation and only started to go through them this morning. Both James and I would like to sincerely thank you for the incredible time, effort and passion you’ve put into the recomposing of the chosen tracks for our ceremony. We could not have been more happier with the end result. To be frank with you, whilst you were rehearsing in the Manor House, the sound travelled all the way to the top of the house and brought chills to all of us getting ready. I will most certainly always remember you for adding this special touch to our big day.
As for the guests, several of them was under the impression that we’ve somehow managed to get Rod Steward to play for us, and was waiting for the grand entrance at any stage. :) I however shared with them how we met in 2013 and till today I am ever so grateful our paths crossed at the Raddison Blu Hotel. Once again, thank you so much and I will most definitely share some images and video footage once I’ve received them from the needed professionals.
I wish you all the very best for the New Year ahead and hope to see you in the not so distant future again.
Best regards
JP and James
