Unleashed in October 2018, BIRTH OF RUIN was All Consumed's third brutal offering:
All Consumed are the elite fighting Uruk-hai of UKDM. Right from first blast, there’s always been something comfortingly filthy about All Consumed, and new album, Birth Of Ruin continues this legacy perfectly. Charging in again, like early Carcass with all the pretty bits amputated, it doesn’t get much heavier than this. The Preston mob have delivered the goods, once more - SlowDragon
One of the best old-school death metal bands in the UK. Birth Of Ruin is exemplary death metal - dirty grooves and catchy riffs slam you face-first into the kerb with remorseless intensity - WorshipMetal
BIRTH OF RUIN follows the nightmarishly ferocious E.P STAIN OF HUMANITY (2017) and NO WORLD ORDER (2015), and Preston's brutal no-nonsense filth mongers continue to deliver on their reputation for frenetic live shows, all the while staying true to their brand of extreme metal with dirty grooves and catchy riffs, stripped of all excess and pretension.
Ever popular heckle-raisers ‘Skin Teeth’, ‘Engraging’ and ‘Remains of the Dead’ are now joined by 'Empty Caskets' and title track 'Birth of Ruin'.
Storming Metal 2 the Masses in Preston, ALL CONSUMED headed up the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock 2014. With a burgeoning résumé of festival appearances and gigs alongside the likes of Acid Reign, Master (USA), Sabiendas (Ger), Fleshcrawl (Ger), GraVil, Foetal Juice, Haerken, Scordatura, Diesel King, Bloodshot Dawn, Abhorrent Decimation, Krysthla, Wretched Soul, Hellgrind and Reign Of Fury (to name a few), the ascent of these atonal deviants seems inevitable.
With a growing list of rave reviews and an ever-expanding list of bookings, they are in high demand once again and will be touring the 3rd studio album 'RISE OF THE GODLESS' soon.
ALL CONSUMED are:

We've been added to the lineup for a special one-off Napalm Death show at Blitz in Preston on September 30th, alongside Odysseus and DJ Connie Von D. This show isn't part of a Napalm Death tour, so we're massively grateful to be included in an intimate special gig with a legendary band.
We played an opening slot for Incantation last night to a packed audience at Rebellion in Manchester. Massive thanks to Dan at Tapestry Promotions for giving us the opportunity, to Incantation for having us to play a small part in their 30th Anniversary Tour, and everyone that came to the show and made it an unforgettable night.
Our latest album 'Hallowed Violence' is available now. It can be found on all streaming services, and can be bought in digital or physical formats on our bandcamp.
The new single "Hallowed Violence" is out now, and can be streamed on all streaming sites, as well as purchased at allconsumed.bandcamp.com

We are pleased to announce we have signed to UNEARTHED MUSIC and will join Liam Barlows roster of awesome bands. Unearthed has a reputation for taking bands forward and we have a good history with Unearthed already.
Joining his roster of bands including Elyrean, Trendkill, Burning The Padre, The Black Hounds, Vulgore and Blood Church, we are anticipating some busy times ahead.
We can finally reveal our 3rd studio album entitled 'RISE OF THE GODLESS' will be released in Spring 2021. Thanks to a successfull Kickstarter campaign we have sourced the funds required to go back into the studio early next year. All new tracks (and a new bass player), this will be our most ambitious work yet.
We are pleased to announce we have a new vocalist joining us: welcome Mike Skeech to All Consumed.
Mike put in a blistering audition performance against some pretty tough competition and immediately fit right in to our style. He has a wealth of live experience so watch for gig updates soon.
We are currently recording a brand new single wth Mike. "DARKEST END" will be released in July.
All Consumed have released their first 2019 dates which sees them heading to Manchester, Wales, Nottingham, Lancaster and London. Join the band on Facebook for the latest events news - see you on the road. AC
UK death metallers All Consumed have always been a band who instinctively understand that death metal works best when appealing to your base instincts. By tapping into that part of your brain that responds to primitive head-banging commands, these Preston-based purveyors of filth have always delivered stripped-back, effortlessly effective death metal that’s less of a nostalgia trip and more of a modern doff of the cap to death metals’ pioneering forefathers.
And, as expected, opener “Empty Caskets” kicks things off with a riff straight out of Scandanavia’s dirty death metal rulebook and Birth Of Ruin already has you gasping in its strangled grasp! “Child’s Play” follows and the fact this monstrous track first reared its head on 2017’s Stain Of Humanity EP matters not a jot. Frankly, it’d be a highlight on any release and its reappearance on Birth Of Ruin is a welcome one.
After that, the “dirty grooves and catchy riffs” just keep on comin’ and the likes of the vicious “Descend” and the Bloodbath-esque “Choosing Death” (we always do lads, we always do!) slam you face-first into the kerb with remorseless intensity.
At just 8 brutally succinct tracks, Birth Of Ruin really is all killer, no filler and there’s no skipping a single moment before the relatively mid-tempo, Bolt Thrower-honouring, title track finishes you off in considerable style.
At heart, Birth Of Ruin is exemplary death metal delivered by a band who harness grooves in a way Six Feet Under wish they still did. That’s not to say that All Consumed should be lumped in with the beyond primitive noises coughed up by the likes of Jungle Rot and Chris Barnes’ aforementioned cronies, as there’s so much more to them than that. Then again, you’d hardly call them a technical death metal band either! We’ll just settle for calling them one of the best old-school death metal bands in the UK and leave it at that.
With each subsequent album improving on the last, Birth Of Ruin will truly be hard for All Consumed to top…..but we’ve no doubt they’ll do it! 8/10
But hey! Don’t just take our word for it, go to bandcamp and have a listen to Birth Of Ruin for yourselves!
Right from first blast, there’s always been something comfortingly filthy about All Consumed, and new album, Birth Of Ruin continues this legacy perfectly. Charging in again, like early Carcass with all the pretty bits amputated, it doesn’t get much heavier than this. The Preston mob have delivered the goods, once more.
Progenitors of the (sub) genre see their earliest output blasted to rubble here, chewed up, spat out, and smashed into the coarse mortar used to build AC’s prehistoric temple to death metal. Grabbing fistfuls of primal hardcore in passing (probably to daub warning runes regarding snapped necks), they stand firmly by the root ethic of playing fast, and playing hard. Even where the pace slows to catch a groove, it just doesn’t stop. You can listen to the album over and over, but you’d be unlikely to find any slack or give whatsoever.
What sets them apart from others who could be described in a similar fashion is a sort of ephemerally tangible finesse. It may be hard to reconcile that with the concept of a ‘riff propelled grenade’ attack, but it’s just the way it is. The only way to grasp it is to experience it yourself. A pack of bears charging in rage might just be cause for distraction, but you can’t deny they are awesome, magnificent creatures.
While this is more of the same thing – see No World Order and Stain Of Humanity (where Child’s Play first appeared) – some bands can simply pull that off. I mean, if it ain’t broke… why not just hunt people down and crush them with brute force?
Ladies and gentlemen, All Consumed are the elite fighting Uruk-hai of UKDM. No messin’, just pure aggression! Dense and relentless. If you need to lose yourself, and stomp about to some big, fat, wall-smashing riffs, here’s perfection for you.
Grade: A
Introduction To All Consumed & 10 Tracks That Changed My Life, by All Consumed Frontman Mike Tingle
All Consumed formed in Preston in 2012 playing a blend of classic Death Metal and Crust. In 2014 a 5 track demo was released and the band also won the Preston Metal 2 The Masses and went on to play Bloodstock 2014. In 2015 the debut album “No World Order” was released and the band spent the next 18 months touring and gigging countrywide in support of the album.
In early 2017 vocalist Rob left the band and was replaced by Mike and weeks later the band were back in the studio recording the brand new EP “Stain Of Humanity”. The new release sees a subtle shift in direction, dropping the crust influences and going for a more old school Death Metal sound taking influence from bands like Benediction, Bolt Thrower and Obituary.
All Consumed will be playing Sancfest in August 2017 supporting thrash veterans Acid Reign and the end of 2017 will see the band tour the country along with a number of fellow UK death metal acts.
Have a listen to “Stain Of Humanity” over on the band's official bandcamp page.
We asked frontman Mick Tingle if he would like to contribute to our 10 Tracks That Change My Life series and here’s what he chose…
Benediction – Ashen Epitaph
The obvious choice to start my list. Dave Ingram is my biggest vocal influence and Benediction are my top choice when it comes to UK Death Metal. Here’s hoping Mr Ingram will return to this band one day…
Dismember – Massive Killing Capacity
Out of all the bands to pick from in the Swedish Death Metal scene Dismember top my list. They perfected the classic HM2 tone and this song is the proof!
Pestilence – The Process of Suffocation
Another Death Metal vocal legend, Martin Van Drunen! Less of an influence on my own voice as I could never hope to capture a tone so unique, but on this song he stands out as a legend in the scene.
Dissection – Thorns of Crimson Death
Dissection took black metal and applied melodic elements like no band had before, and Thorns of Crimson Death is my favourite example of this.
Blut Aus Nord – Epitome XV
A truly unique band that have the ability to create a very tense and uneasy atmosphere with their music. This is not a song for the faint of heart, but a perfect piece of music.
In Solitude – On Burning Paths
In Solitude’s second release is a perfect album from start to finish, but this closing song takes everything great about the album and combines it into a 13 minute masterpiece.
Kvelertak – Sultans of Satan
Kvelertak take familiar sounds from black metal, hardcore punk and classic rock to make the most wierd and wonderful songs i’ve ever heard, but Sultans of Satan has the edge thanks to that peculiar vocal performance in the chorus!
Riot – Swords and Tequila
My favourite song of the first metal album my dad gave me when I was 10 years old. This is where it all started for me.
Tormented – Reversed Funeral
Easily my top modern Death Metal band. They capture every aspect of the classic Swedish sound and do it all so perfectly. This song is lyrically brilliant and the standout from their incredible debut album.
The Devil’s Blood – Come, Reap
My all time favourite band without any doubt. Every song they have released is perfectly written and completely flawless. Why this song? It’s the first one I heard by them.

Our new E.P. Stain of Humanity is out now - and here's what Beze at Moshville Times makes of it:
"Hailing from Preston, All Consumed have been flying the ever-buoyant flag of UK death metal since 2012 and five track EP Stain of Humanity represents their third recording and first since last year’s impressive debut No World Order.
The band’s now fast-becoming trademark sound is very much that of the straight-up mid-paced bludgeoning made famous by UK legends Benediction and Bolt Thrower. Heavy/catchy riffs, dirty grooves, and brooding atmosphere are very much the order of the day and Stain of Humanity offering five short and punchy dishes for your aural consumption.
Opener,“Remains Of The Dead”, begins proceedings with a delicious Obituary-esque intro riff, delivering the ideal appetiser for the death metal feast that’s about to be delivered.
Third track “Descend” provides the main course and highlight, containing a gargantuan main riff which will have you leaving the table to stomp about in malevolent glee.
Dessert comes in the form of final track “A Price Forced And Paid” which adds hefty dollops of thrash riffage to the death metal base to finish the feast in celebratory fashion. Gruesome backing vocals, pinched harmonics and a smattering of blast-beats all add interesting accoutrements throughout, all-in leaving you happily gorged by the end.
The production is raw and dirty which, if you were being pedantic, could argue it dulls the edge of some of the riffs. However, on balance it adds to the overall griminess of the record and helps give it an authentic old school vibe.
When the tendency of many younger death metal bands is to notch up the extremity and technicality levels in a bid to stand out, All Consumed thankfully stick to the simple winning formula that is straight-up, groove based death metal. The UK death metal scene is far better off for it."
Cheers Beze and Moshville Times! - AC
Hot off the press and STAIN OF HUMANITY is album of the week:
"UK death metal – forever sidelined in favour of America’s output – has always had a certain sound, or the Bolt Thrower effect as we like to refer to it. That grinding, mid-paced bludgeoning interspersed with thrashed-up bursts of speed perfected by Karl Willetts and co. and also delivered with such panache by underground legends such as Benediction, Cancer and Warlord. Fundamentally, it’s a sound indescribably British in nature and it’s fuckin’ awesome, right?!
All Consumed, as you’ve probably already guessed, tread a similar path with riffs that are never overly technical. Instead, this grooving colossus revels in old-school death metal’s penchant for ground-shaking power and macabre atmosphere, with All Consumed’s brand of molasses-thick riffing supplying a suffocatingly swampy barrage of insanely heavy sounds and catchy as fuck phrasing. A conventional use of song structure is satisfyingly evident (All Consumed couldn’t give two shits about modern death metal’s obsession with showboating technicality) and it’s left to their overall aggression and effective songwriting prowess to leave their indelible stain on humanity.
“A Price Forced And Paid” – with its thrash rhythms that recall the aforementioned Warlord – is a highlight, grinding its way into your guts in the way death metal used to do. Here’s a band that instinctively understands that death metal works best when appealing to your base instincts, tapping into that part of your brain that responds to primitive head-banging commands! Frankly, they make this shit look like child’s play.
It’s worth noting that when frontman Rob Thomas recently departed, All Consumed quickly bounced back with a new throat – in the formidable shape of Mike Tingle – a man who favours a more guttural drawl, purpose built for the kind of death metal All Consumed peddle. He’s a good fit indeed!
If the likes of Cannibal Corpse’s Gallery Of Suicide, Broken Hope’s Swamped In Gore, Warlord’s Maximum Carnage and Benediction’s The Grand Leveller tickle your death metal fancy then All Consumed should now be considered mandatory listening. These guys have very quickly left a permanent mark on the UK’s death metal landscape and Stain Of Humanity is a must-hear release. A definite force to be reckoned with! 8/10"

Proof that gloriously simple death metal can still be a heckle-raising experience in 2015, All Consumed’s debut is an all consuming experience. Unrefined, unfettered and un-f*cking-believably savage. 8/10
All Consumed’s debut album No World Order takes the title of Worship Metal’s Album Of The Week and it’s an extreme metal extravaganza in awe of death metal’s primal beginnings.
Simply brutal and brutally simple, just think of the finest exponents of groove-obsessed death metal and you’ll not be far off the sound achieved here. “My Asylum” fashions a Napalm Death styled extreme metal workout into a revolving door of incessant riffing and bludgeoning power while “Governed” is the greatest mid-tempo stomper Chris Barnes has never growled over! Talking of growls, the vocal performance of the singularly monikered ‘Rob’ is outstanding throughout. His low’s are unfathomably low and his mid-range shriek is bone-chilling, the perfect accompaniment to the murky, swampy grooves peeled off at a frenetic pace.
No World Order is a back to basics death metal powerhouse. Progressive? Not in any sense….and that’s why we love ’em! The longest song clocks in at an anorexic 3:37 and you get the sense that these guys get off on getting to the f*ckin’ point. This is primeval stuff, the earliest form of death metal scuzzed up for a modern audience used to a diet of overblown, over-fed and over produced death metal theatrics. Well, you’re on a diet now mother*ckers! All Consumed are lean, flayed red raw and indebted to the corrugatingly cruel and dense delivery of Six Feet Under, Dismember and False/Erase era Gorefest.

It’s been quite a while since the world churned out a truly engaging ‘hardcore’ metal album. Decent hardcore albums, yes. Decent metalcore albums, also kicking about (indeed, it’s true that such things do exist, I assure you!). However, a fully functioning metal album that is also hardcore, and not sugared down, ‘McAudio’ for wannabe cage fighters..? Let’s just say, I haven’t been holding my breath of late. Listening to All Consumed’s No World Order has been an utterly satisfying rebuttal.
Much of the ‘core’ side of things here has been derived from the harder edge of the mid-to-late 1990s scene. Hewn from the memorable foundations of acts such as Hatebreed and Biohazard, the bottom floor of this hateful tenement is populated with urban aggression, yet there is more here than tribute or replication. In the same way that Pissing Razors brought a new angle to this form, All Consumed have broken down the gates and let the metal flow freely.
With the added layer of Rob Thomas’ Jason Netherton style vocal – although delivered in a slightly heavier manner than in Misery Index – there is further reinforcement to the feeling that this is, in its purest essence, a death metal album, albeit one with head-bouncing hook riffs leading the way. Producer, Samuel Turbitt, has also performed excellently in capturing live energy here, ultimately allowing All Consumed to truly indulge in their innate heaviness, something which, it could be said, limited their previous recording efforts. The blending of genres feels entirely natural, though, and rather than a disjointed amalgam of two distinct sounds, it hammers home a brutality that will appeal to followers of both real hardcore and old school death metal.
This record is a dark and menacing piece of work, with no pretensions to virtuosity, and is, consequently, a highly listenable record. Repeat spins do it no harm, either, making it a cacophonous pleasure, and an essential keeper for all curators of eclectic, heavy, audio libraries. All hail the No World Order!

Never let it be said that we at TBFM aren’t dedicated to bringing you the latest music from the best independent bands – All Consumed’s album is soooo exclusive there isn’t even an official release date yet! If you were unfortunate enough to miss “No World Order” being played in full on TBFM’s Brutal Assault recently, you’ll have to wait until Autumn-ish to claim a copy for your very own. If you have the patience, it will be worth the wait.
Riding on the wave of a clutch of positive reviews following their aural destruction of the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock 2014, the band have channelled as much brutality and aggression into their debut album as anyone could reasonably muster. The result is pure, undiluted extreme metal that will shatter your core.
The obligatory atmospheric intro actually serves its purpose very nicely, seamlessly seguing into “Governed”. This track is suitably fast and ferocious, punctuated with fierce machine gun drums. This is followed by “Theory Of Reason”, which opens with an indomitable guitar riff and in some parts brings to mind the industrial juggernaut that is Fear Factory’s “Cyberwaste”.
Fans will be familiar with the sheer savagery of my personal favourite song, “Skin Teeth”. Buffed and shined to perfection, this cleaned-up version magnifies the super-heavy, down-tuned grooves and the guttural growls. “Infectious” is aptly named, as it’s bound to promote the spread of spontaneous head-banging throughout an audience when performed live. Final track “Enraging” exemplifies the kind of old school death metal that All Consumed are influenced by, and shows that they are masters of the genre. Any attempt to match frontman Rob’s low, growly vocals will result in a rattling of the sternum.
In summary this is an album designed to run up to you, give you a massive, beefy smack around the chops and then run away again. With tracks that average out in length at about 3 minutes they can be likened to a sucker punch that leaves a bruise on your soul. The masochist in you will love it. How can you resist?

“Closing proceedings for Saturday on the New Blood Stage was Preston’s All Consumed. Over on the main stage Carcass was drawing a huge crowd for their set and frustratingly once again we were left with the disappointing sight of All Consumed having to play for just a handful of people. Not that you would have noticed as they produced another astonishingly proficient display of down tuned, angry metal accompanied by savage growling from vocalist Rob. This was a fine performance, full of power and a hint of melody in amongst the brutality. I can only hope that they will draw a few more people in on future gigs as judging by this set, they could well attract a lot more interest given the right circumstances.”

“Bloodstock New Blood Stage ’closer’ for Saturday night, All Consumed, arrive next, filling the room with filthy groove-laden death metal. It’s probably a good job the windows are open as All Consumed would surely have blown them out with this performance. There’s a drum-beat that’s so catchy it demands a tapped foot and a nodded head, but in the blink of an eye it turns destructive as the Grind kicks in. If the local abattoir had a bar, then All Consumed would be the house band; and if Messrs Walker, Steer, et al aren’t shitting themselves about playing against this lot in a fortnight then they should start now.”

“Preston might not have a reputation as a hotbed of extreme heavy music but local lads, All Consumed are out to change that. Formed two years ago by Rob (Vocals), Darren (Guitar) and Joe (Bass), all veterans of the local music scene, the trio began writing material with a drum machine before recruiting a human in the form of Dave. Having spent a year honing their sound – an aggressive fusion of old-school, grinding death metal & urgent thrashing rhythms – and building a steady profile on the live circuit, the quartet now find themselves in the regional final of Metal to the Masses, a nationwide Battle of the Bands contest which places the winners on the New Blood Stage at the Bloodstock open air festival in August. Co-writer & bassist Joe said: “We, and no doubt the other acts involved, are grateful for this opportunity and the exposure this event provides. “Whether we win or not, we have gained experience and encouragement from it.””
“With six bands on it needed an early start and people were still arriving when Preston’s All Consumed (below) started the wrecking ball rolling. At least with the tight playing space it gives a good gathering up front. I know some of these guys of old, and though this a relatively new project from them it gets into its stride from the off. Superbly heavy death metal vibes, but with a real urgent chugging pace, puts me in mind of Asphyx or Sinister. Plenty of variety in their structure keeps the impact high.”
