Stoney is a native to Maryland growing up on the Westside of Baltimore in North Pulaski neighborhood. He began his musical journey in Elementary school. He was very into writing, no matter what, it could have been a poem, song, or a rap. He loved to perform at talent shows and actually started off doing an R&B act. From the beginning he established his target audience, females. He continued to sing until middle school and began playing around with some friends in the cafeteria spitting a few bars here and there. During the beginning of his high school career he ran in to some trouble and was incarcerated. However this was not a down fall. While in there he became more in tune with music, writing raps and r&b songs. Once he was home “Left Pulaski alone, hooked up with Rara and skulled up.” So the outcome of this union was him starting Skull Squad. Somewhere down the line he was introduced to Luchini Ace and was added to Skull Squad. Catching another bid in jail Luchini and Rara carried the torch until Rara’s death. Once home still in grievance for Rara, Stoney kept the musical trio going on added the squad producer Waves to the team and later adding Bmore Trillz. Together the quartet released hits such as Baby I’m Trapping, Twerk Work, and Friday 13th. In 2015 the group decided to go their separate ways and Stoney has released “BeenBeen” which is a song that is buzzing around the city and a great r&b ballad titled “Love U Should Try” bringing back his first love R&B. Coming soon from Stoney is his untitled mixtape and lots of features. Be sure to be on the lookout because Stoney still loves music until this day & is pursuing his career as an artist of M.A.M.
