Reigning from Littleton, Colorado, Conquer Everest is derived of five friends with mutual ambitions in creating heavy and positive music. In late 2011, merely an idea was created, with capacities of a timeline that was unfathomable. 2012 began the journey with many shows and a brand new EP written and recorded by Conquer Everest. Further advancing and gaining new members, Conquer Everest wrote, recorded and released a brand new full length album entitled, "The Sonder Ledge," that was released April 27, 2013 at Moes South in Denver, Colorado. The Conquer Everest story is currently evolving into a well greased machine, developing character and identity through the friendship that has transpired. Conquer Everest is currently writing a new record with hopes to release in early 2015. Conquer Everest's passion for their music is best witnessed on stage, referring to their high energy shows, displaying passion and movement. Conquer Everest's love for heavy music and promoting positivity will always take precedence over the lifestyle. "Thank you to those who have provided endless support and love. We are nothing without you."
Conquer Everest had the privilege of sharing the stage with the following bands: Bless The Fall, Forty Fathoms, Phinehas, The Paramedic, I Wrestled a Bear Once, I See Stars, 12 Stones, Surrounded By Monsters, Adestria, Deserters, Alleageon, To The Wind, The Burial Plot, Dead for Denver, As The Sky Darkens and many more great local bands! Time can only tell what the future holds!

This Sunday we hit the studio for the last and final day. We will have the recording phase 100% complete and next week mixing will begin! Hoping to have some hard copies by late May, at the latest! So excited to share our proudest creation to date!
Drums and vocals have all been tracked. We are currently halfway through tracking guitars. Early April will be final mix and mastering for the album. Hopefully will have hard copies in hand by early May! So stoked. Look out for a CD listening party for friends and family, followed by the release show!!l Our Indiegogo compaign has been a massive success as well. We've almost reached our $2,500.00 goal through the generosity of our fans, friends, and family! Thank you to all!!
Pre-production is wrapping up tonight! We're excited to announce that we have 8 of the 12 songs with clean vocals. A massive upgrade from our previous record. Don't be fooled though, staple Conquer Everest will be prevalent throughout the record. Breakdowns upon breakdowns. This body of work has been tweaked and refined for the past two years and we cannot wait to share it with you all! Next Friday we begin tracking drums and vocals. After wrapping up drums and vocals, we will take the drums home and record the guitars, later implementing them into final mixing and establishing guitar tones through a guitar profiler. We also launched an indiegogo campaign a week and a half ago and have already surpassed 50% of our $2,500 goal. Thank you to all who have stuck by us!!
So we're just about finished in the writing phase. We discussed 12 songs in the beginning, but had an idea that evolved into our 13th song. Patrick is still underway with the drum tracking for pre production and we pushed back our recording date a month to 3/6/15. Be on the look out! Things are going slow, but it'll be worth it in the long run.
We've completed our tenth song. We are just currently tightening it up and have ideas on standby for the final two songs for the album. Patrick still is attacking the monemental trask of tracking the drums for pre production.
It's official, we are recording with Nick Nodurft at Rusty Sun Audio. Pre-production is under way and we will begin tracking drums in the studio on February 6th and conclude recording the 13th. Nick will be assisting us with mixing and mastering as well, but we will be handling the guitars on our own, bringing him the raw guitar takes. We are excited to use his Kemper profiler and get an awesome guitar tone! A video playthrough, cd listening party, and cd release show are all in the works as well! Keep a look out and keep checking back because we will be updating!
Sunday four us went down to Rusty Sun Audio, operated and owned by Nick Nodurft, and we were all blown away with his expertise! At the minimum, we plan to record drums, vocals, and do mixing at Rusty Sun. We are beyond stoked to finally get the ball rolling. We will most likely be tracking the guitars ourselves and having Nick develop a tone for us through his Kemper Profiler. We are just trying to see what is achievable financially and we will move forward and book time to record most likely in February. Currently we are finishing writing and moving on to pre production. Thank you for you patience and we can't wait to finally develop a record that can hang with the big dawgs!
So we have furthered our discussions regarding recording and came to a more firm conclusion. This Sunday we plan to visit Rusty Sun Audio run by Nick Norduft to develop a gameplan and reserve time for recording. Patrick is currently tracking Brian's drums so we can begin Pre production, with hopes of getting in the studio in early January to begin recording. We do play to do a full band play through (video) for one of the songs off the new record. We also plan to collaborate with Chain Reaction Brewing to create a custom Conquer Everest beer and set a date to have a CD listening/Beer drinking party at the Chain Reaction Taphouse. A lot of work ahead of us, but we have hopes to set a CD release show early next year. Thanks for your patience!
Nick has been on vacation for the past week, and we have had some schedule conflictions on top of that. Tomorrow we are getting together to put in another push to complete the writing process. We have two shows left for the remainder of the year, one at Herman's Hideaway on 10/24 and the final show at Trailside Saloon on 11/8. The remainder of the year will be dedicated to writing and recording. Appears we have narrowed our recording engineer search as well. That will be announced sooner than later! Hang in there with us and we will get you this record into your ears as soon as we can!! Conquer On!
On Thursday we completed our 9th song and are on the verge of entering the pre production stages. As we've said, we are planning to write 12 total songs. Nick has a song in his archives for the tenth and that should inspire us for one last push to get the final three finished. With high standards for this record, patience will be essential. On top of that we have a show next Friday at The Toad Tavern. Hope to see you there!
So we had our first show in about 2 and a half months in Aurora at a church called The Commons at Elevation. Had a blast despite, the low turn out. We are currently in between shows and have about 3 weeks to continue writing for the new record. We are currently half way through our ninth song and are officially shooting for 12. Next show is at The Toad Tavern 9/26, hope to see you there!
Today Nick, Brian, and myself (Adam) got together and polished up our 7th and 8th songs, one of which is an instrumental interlude song. We are now half way through a ninth song, switching up the feel and going for a more deathcore sound. Should add some variety to the albums. Next week we play the show in Aurora at The Commons at Elevation with Hit The Ground Running. Hope to see you there! Conquer on!
Hey so since we are making such great progress on our writing for the new record we decided to jump on a show a little bit sooner. Hit The Ground Running contacted us to play with them and The Burial Plot at The Commons @ Elevation in Aurora! Awesome lineup and we're beyond stoked to cause some ruckus again, since its been a couple months. Patrick is beginning to track drums for pre production and it will help us map out the vocals (cleans/dirties) easier. We look forward to the future, keep a look out and Conquer On!
So another update for you guys. Have made a significant amount of process towards getting to tracking for the new records. We should be close to rapping up this 7th song tonight and moving back to our instrumental track we started a few weeks ago. In other news, Kevin is home from the Army briefly before he has to be deployed to Qatar for 6 months. Lots of bro time in our future! Always is and always will be apart of this Conquer Family, to the death!
Hey guys, so Adam just got back from vacation from Lake Powell on the 19th and we had our first jam back as a full band last night. Patrick is all caught up with the new songs and we are currently pushing forward towards recording. We had a long discussion about the future when it come to recording and touring. Keep a look out for updates and news on our facebook page, since this is more of a secondary source. Shooting for 10 brand new songs and we are 3/4s of the way there! Conquer On!
So Tuesday we completed our 6th song and last night we finished polishing it and are beyond stoked with the outcome of every aspect of the song. We are diligently continuing to keep a more technical mindset for this new record. We also began writing our seventh song which will be an interlude/instrumental song which will be a good intermission from the brutality we've been creating. Progress is being made and we are anxious to show you all! Until then, Conquer On! (Also Adam leaves for Lake Powell July 11th through the 19th so we will be temporarily out of commission)
So a little recap on the show we played last Thursday at Lost Lake. We unanimously decided it was one of the funnest shows we've played! Great friends, great vibes, great supporting bands, and lots of energy. Thanks to everyone who came out and stuck around! We are currently back to writing, and a little hung up on the sixth new song but now that we have a break from shows, things should get moving smooth again. That's all for now. Conquer On Wayne
So tomorrow we play at Lost Lake Lounge off Colorado and Colfax with some amazing metal bands: Its Always Sunny In Tijuana, Bodies We've Buried, Wall of the Fallen, and Beyond Prophecies. Yes, it is a Thursday night show but will still be a banger and we're stoked! Currently we are still working on our sixth new song for the new record. Its going a little bit slower, having to juggle work schedules and shows, but technical and brutal as always. Should be finished by next week would be my guess! Thanks for checking back! Conquer On!
The dudes are getting together tonight to run the set for our show this weekend at Moes Original BBQ off broadway. Stoked to play with a full line up again (had to play a man down *Patrick*). Hope to see you guys there! Writing continuing as always and appears we have found a guy in Canada at Cold Weather Studios to do our Mixing/Mastering for the new full length. We just need to crack down and find some studios to tour to record drums. Song number six still in the works but should be on to seven soon! Conquer On!
Hey guys! So last Friday we had a show that got rerouted to Four Winds American Indian Council. We were bummed the Rockhouse fell through, but glad it reignited! Sent Forty Fathoms off with Souls and Conflicts for an seemingly awesome tour! Coming up we have a show next Saturday at Moes South in Englewood/Denver on June 14th with Hemingway Hero, The Dawn Chose Orion, and Iconocaust. It's going to be fuckin beef central, don't want to miss it! We have $5 presales for those interested, contact Adam @ 303-748-7060! Now onto the juicy stuff, we have been continually writing in between shows and have made great progress. Song number 5 has been completed and we're onto six. We are trying to keep progress aggressive because we are anxious to record, but probably won't be til later this year. That's all for now. Conquer On!
So we just got on a stacked ass bill at The Rockhouse in Littleton, off Broadway and Littleton Blvd! Bands playing are Forty Fathoms, Souls, Riverdale, Conflicts, and yours truly! Hope to see you guys there! More writing for the week begins tomorrow. New song number 5 is well into the finishing stages!
Brian, Nick and I (Atom) got a new song in the works in practice last week when Patrick couldn't attend. We were able to introduce that puppy to him tonight and we made further progress. We are staying on course when it comes to technicality and brutality. This shit won't need to be played backwards for subliminal messages...
So we have a lot of great shows approaching this summer! Make sure and check under shows to stay updated and try and make out to one...or ALLLLL! Another is also in the works and hopefully we can lock down! It will be with As The Sky Darkens at Moes South Broadway! We'll keep you guys updated! Conquer On
Thus far we have 4 brand new songs completed for the record, in hopes of creating another full length album. We definitely decided to take our existing product from our previous record, "The Sonder Ledge," and upgrade the technicalities and heavyness, still with a touch of the old style. We look forward to unveiling some new songs at our upcoming shows!!
