"a higher consciousness and a good time"...
...is how Marcus Cole & Mark A'lleven describe their movement. Soul Preachas is not only music but a balance of thought and expression which makes the music an amazing by-product.
Cole, a native of Saginaw, MI and Mark A'lleven of Pontiac, MI became acqauinted over 10 years ago with no idea that their mutual affinity for authentic soul music would lead to a collaboration of 2 independent albums.
Al Green, Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Paul Foster, Hall & Oates, Sam & Dave, James Taylor and countless others are responsible for the indelible soul impression left on these two young men.
Though, not a group Cole & A'lleven light up the stage together; reminiscent of true soul singers of days long past. A'lleven says, "we like to look at it as 2 albums, 1 sound".
Produced by Marcus Cole, both Mark A'lleven's debut album "24" and Cole's sophomore project, "Soul Revival" promises to deliver heart-pounding, soul-shaking, mind-liberating music for years to come.
so join the movement!
