Excelsior first started out under the name Death and Glory, when the band lead singer and songwriter decided to write his first song with his friend for a small competition they were trying to start with their brothers. Being encouraged from the outcome of the one song, they continued writing.
Starting to write under the name Death and Glory, they produced multiple songs but didn't have the funds to record them. Soon Death and Glory began writing and recording at home. Changing the band name to a much more fitting title, Excelsior released their first two songs "Irony" and "Into the Fire" to Youtube in April of 2013.
They expect to start gigging around the Nashville area in late 2013, so keep your eyes and ears open!
Excelsior will be becoming very active very shortly, so follow us on twitter, Facebook, and Google plus!
