Cindy Slee [vocals, guitar, harmonica] has a degree in nursing from the Univesity of Toledo. She picked up the guitar at age twelve and never put it down. She began perfoming in her early twenties with the rock group "The Statband" with fellow singer songwriter Theresa Konwinski. Their song "State Street" placed in the top 10% int the KFC sonwriting Contest. In 1990, faced with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, she quit her nursing career and eventually became a full time singer songwriter. She was lead singer for the contemporary Christian band Aarons Rod and co-wrote on their album Thankful Offerings. She joined the gospel group All About HIM in 2005 writing songs on two of their albums. After years of writing and performing with other groups she went solo and in 2014 released her first album of originals called Small Town World. Her song Happy As A Jaybird was chosen by The Toledo Free Press to be on their summer compilation album benefiting the Red Cross and she graced the cover of the newspaper with two other local singer/songwriters. She performed for the benefit concert at The Hollywood Casino. Shortly after that she and Aaron Keaster formed a duo and began playing in clubs and restaurants around Nothwest Ohio. Joined by Rob Desmond in 2015 they officially became known as Cindy Slee & The Rhythm Method.
Aaron Keaster [double bass, vocals] has music degrees from Wichita State University and Indiana University. He is a member of The Toledo Symphony double bass section. He has played with the Toledo productions of Broadway touring shows including Wicked, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, Spamalot and The Producers. He teaches music lessons in the Toledo area and also at Adrian College in Michigan. He joined Cindy Slee in 2013. He contributes to the songwriting and production of their original songs. He is currently working on his second solo album.
Rob Desmond [drums, percussion] graduated with honors from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor's in Music Education. He also holds a Masters Degree in Music from the University of Denver Lamont School of Music. He currently serves as the director of percussion emsembles at The Toledo School for the Arts. In September of 2007 he helped estaablish Glass City Steel, the Toledo School for the Arts very first steel drum band. He renmains the director and principle arranger for this popular group. Rob has also performed with the Mannette Festival of Steel Orchestra, The Toledo Percussion Trio, the Toledo Symphony, the Colorado Symphony and the Adrian Symphony including performances with Yo-Yo Ma, James Galway, The Moody Blue, Dennis DeYoung and has recorded with the Denver Brass. Rob is a welcomed addition to The Rhythm Method

We played to a very enthusiatic crowd at The Sundown Cantina in Sylvania, Ohio. The people were great and so ws the food! We'll be back at the Cantina in April!
